Adult Bible Study

Sundays from 9:15am-10:15am

We currently offer two Adult Bible Classes, and both meet in the Fellowship Hall.

Pastor Meyer and a variety of other leaders lead one Bible class. May's Topic is: "Does the Bible Really say that?" It looks at a variety of sayings and determines whether they are from Scripture, and if not from where and how the saying applies to our lives. The "text" of The Scripture Class is The Lutheran Study Bible. It was created new (published in 2009), from the ground up, to be the very first Lutheran Study Bible prepared using completely unique and exclusively Lutheran content. Our journey is literally book-by-book and reference Bibles are available for everyone. We also hear the Word. The orator on the ESV audio is great: skilled in pronunciation, phrasing, and nuance. This is an ongoing journey designed for entry at any time and for any person who would like to "walk" the Bible. We are all Tyros (those beginning to learn, a favorite term of Luther). We meet at 9:15am in Room B in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for musing and muffins! Lead by Betty Bednarz 288-2370.

Women's Monday Morning Bible Study

Monday Mornings from 9:30am-11:00am

Please join the dozen or so women who gather for fellowship and Bible Study. We usually begin with a short time of sharing, followed by a study from Scripture. The current study is "Unveiled Faces," by Donna Pyle. Please join the women and Pastor Meyer, the facilitator, as they study the Living Word. Location: Conference Room of the Administration Wing, meets from 9:30am to 11:00am on Monday mornings.

Men's Saturday Morning Bible Study

2nd and 4th Saturdays at 7:30am

Please join the men who gather for food, fellowship and the sharing of their faith at 7:30am on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. The men are currently studying character. Please join them as they encourage one another and learn from the Living Word. Location: Mt. Olive's Fellowship Hall.

Confirmation Classes

1st three Sundays of the month at 7:30am

Confirmation Classes meet the 1st three Sundays of the month from 12:30pm until 2pm. in the Fellowship Hall. A meal is shared, and then the student work on their lessons.
